Estonian Veterans Interviews
The goal of this project is to interview Estonian veterans that served in the Finnish or German Armies in WW2. We will also interview members of the Estonian Legion as a part of this work. The interviews will be put in book form after being translated to English. It is hoped the book will be ready sometime next year. If you are interested in this project or if you know a veteran that would agree to be interviewed please send me a note. This work is going on now and more details will be posted on the site over time. The site is also working on the Finnish Veterans Interview Project as well, this to be published in book from sometime in 2008.
Welcome
This site is dedicated to the history of the Baltic nation of Estonia. Its military history, general history, issue arms, issue items, and like subjects. The goal is to bring the history of Estonia to Western readers, since many in the West do not understand or have access to the history of this brave nation. It is also hoped this page will be a portal to links dealing with Estonia on the Internet. We also hope to attract Estonian authors to this project, as so the story of their nation is told without a Western slant.
As this site is new there is much in the works and new articles are being planned. Anyone that is willing to assist in this effort is most welcome and the owner of the site may be emailed at webmaster@estonianarms.com
See leht on pühendatud esimese Eesti Vabariigi ajaloole. Eesmärgiks on Eesti ajaloo tutvustamine ingliskeelsele lugejaskonnale. Koostaja oleks väga tänulik igasuguse temaatilise informatsiooni ja kaastöö eest!

PLEASE NOTE - Due to an outside book project this website and its articles have been put on hold until sometime later in 2007. The webmaster has three different projects due to be printed and this is taking all his free time.
